VIDEO: The Strength Behind the Scholarship

Apr 14, 2026

This uplifting conversation, moderated by Chris Low, brings together Roselineda, a proud Matènwa Community Learning Center (MCLC) graduate now studying business administration, her mother Zaza, and her teacher Samila to share a powerful story of perseverance, possibility, and community-rooted education.

Roselineda’s journey—and her dream to return home and contribute to her community—is a reflection of Matènwa's transformative impact, inspiring more students to pursue higher education despite the real challenges they face.

We are deeply grateful to the 30 supporters who joined us, whose solidarity, encouragement, and belief in these students help make stories like Roselineda’s possible.
