Cherica’s Story

May 27, 2026

After fleeing violence in Port-au-Prince, Cherica found safety, stability, and a place to learn at Matènwa.

This year, more children are finding Matènwa than ever before: 350 students are enrolled, the highest number in the school’s history.

You can ensure that children like Cherica keep learning through another difficult year in Haiti. Help close a $180,000 gap by June 30th.
