Dear friends of Matènwa,

It is with extreme pleasure that the Matènwa staff, students, and parents get to share with you this past month's activities.

Making more space! Our student numbers are growing as we welcome 12th graders this year! All of the art huts are getting makovers with second floor porches for classes.

The Recording Studio
The Music Room

And more inviting spaces! Both the preschool porch and the training gallery now have built in benches. There is also a new shelf for the buffet lunches served at trainings.

Built in benches!

Beautiful woodwork!

Orientation week is an annual event! We use this time to prepare for the opening of the school year. We discuss how we are going to make the year even better than the last. We review our principles of engagement with children; the roles and responsibilities of each person; the methods we'll use and ; the materials we'll need. The whole staff meets together: the nurse, parent liaison, teachers, custodians, guardians, directors, and trainers.

Kenbe pa lage!
