Hurricane Matthew’s Damage Assessment

Dec 7, 2016

Hurricane Matthew is old news for some, but not for the people who were hit by it. For those of you interested in the damage assessment of the whole island of Lagonav here is a chart below.

We thank all of you who have contributed to our Hurricane fund to help our Matènwa neighbors. We have received money that we will be using for food and rebuilding. We go at the pace of the community, letting them organize themselves without pressure from us, the funders, to get things done quickly. There is a Haitian proverb that says: Better to take your time on the way so you can deliver good news.

Thank you for your patience, trust, and confidence,

Chris
